Three install paths, one product

Install Relyv.

The 14 KB SDK records every session on the site you own. The browser extension records any website you visit. The desktop app records everything else — Figma, Xcode, terminals, video calls, multi-monitor.

How Relyv works

From install to insight in minutes.

Every install — SDK, extension, desktop — streams the same DOM-accurate replay into the same dashboard.

  1. 01

    Install in 30 seconds

Paste one script tag, click Add to Chrome, or download the desktop app. Pick any of the three above — the rest of the flow is identical.

  2. 02

    Sessions auto-record

DOM, network, console, errors stream in real time. PII is masked on device before bytes leave the browser. <1% perf overhead.

  3. 03

    AI surfaces the signal

Frustration scoring, funnels, alerts, AI summaries, churn prediction. Replays open with one click; Slack, Linear, Jira tickets file themselves.

Common questions

Before you install.

Which install do I need?

SDK if you own the site — it's the only one that unlocks the full analytics stack (frustration, funnels, alerts, AI). Chrome Extension if you want to record a site you don't control. Desktop App if you need to record apps the browser can't reach, like Figma or terminals.

Will the SDK slow my site down?

14 KB gzipped, loaded async, <1% perf overhead measured against Lighthouse + Web Vitals on real sites. No render blocking, no main-thread stalls. Customers report no perceivable difference.

How is PII handled?

Every input, password field, and any element you mark sensitive is masked on device before bytes leave the browser. We never see raw PII. GDPR + CCPA aligned, SOC 2 in progress. You can also self-host the ingest endpoint if your DPO requires data residency.

How much does it cost?

Free to start — generous session quota for solo devs and small teams. Paid plans add AI insights, predictive churn, SSO, and longer retention. See pricing →

Do I have to install all three?

No — start with whichever fits today and add the others later. The SDK on your own product is the highest-leverage install. Most teams add the extension second for QA + support, and the desktop app for product demos and bug-bashing.

Where does my data live?

Default: Google Cloud us-central1 with regional pinning available (asia-south1 for India, europe-west1 for EU). Enterprise customers can request EU-only or self-hosted ingest. See our DPA for the full processor list.

Recorder

Browser extension

Record any website you can visit, without touching its code. Same DOM + network + console fidelity as the SDK on the wire, played back in the same viewer.

Use it for

Any website the SDK isn't on

  • QA on staging without redeploying
  • Customer-bug capture during a support call
  • Competitive research — replay how a competitor's flow works
  • Internal admin tools you can't add JavaScript to
It does not

Show analytics on captured sessions

No frustration scoring, no funnel analytics, no real-time alerts, no AI summaries on extension recordings — those need a verified domain, which only the SDK install provides. You still get full DOM + network + console replay.

Recorder

Desktop app

Native recorder for macOS, Windows, Linux. Records any website plus whatever else is on your screen — desktop apps, terminals, design tools, video calls, multi-monitor flows. Pairs system audio + webcam into a single replay.

Pick the desktop app when

The browser can't reach it

  • Native apps — Figma, Sketch, Xcode, Postman, terminals
  • Multi-monitor walkthroughs that span screens
  • System audio (the extension can't access it)
  • Webcam + screen overlay for product demos and async standups
Same boundary as the extension

Recorder only

No frustration scoring, no funnel analytics, no real-time alerts on desktop recordings. That's the SDK's job — it needs a verified domain and the auto-recorder to know what "normal" looks like.

macOS first launch needs Right-click → Open while Apple notarization finishes. Sign-in uses the same workspace key from Settings → API keys.
